Porcupine Gold Mines has recently committed to donate $600,000 to Timins & District Hospital in their efforts to build a new Dialysis Services Expansion which will be located on the hospital site.

This comitment reflects our gratitude to both Goldcorp employees and members of our community. The City of Timmins is celebrating its 100th Anniversary and this is our way of participating in the celebrations ... what a better way is there to show we care. This project, along with our donation, will assist in providing a healthcare facility which will continue to accommodate ever increasing patient needs.

 

Goldcorp Recognized as 2010 Top Employer

Goldcorp has been recognized in recent annual competitions as being one of Canada's best places to work.

Now in its 10th year, the Canada's Top 100 Employers project is a national competition to determine which employers lead their industries in offering exceptional workplaces for their employees.

Maclean's Magazine, the Globe & Mail and the Financial Post have released special editions / issues of their Top 100 Employers for 2010 and Goldcorp is listed quite proudly.
